The Official Obituary of

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, and grandpa, EDWARD FENZ on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the age of 78 years. Ed is survived by his loving wife Arlene of 51 years, son Brian (Floria) and their children - Taylor, Korey and Brayden, son Darin (Kathy) and their children - Jordan, Jeremy, Jazzlee and Berklee; and daughter Debbie (Darcel) Tonin and their children - Breanna, Brittia and Darrien. Ed was born on April 19, 1934 to Paul and Annie Fenz in Coaldale, AB. Ed attended school in the McNally School District. He began farming shortly after in the same McNally area. He met the love of his life, Arlene Johnston on a blind date in 1957. They married in 1960 and continued farming and were then blessed with three wonderful children whom they raised on that same farm. Ed and Arlene retired in 1988 where they moved to West Lethbridge and resided until his passing. Ed enjoyed tending to his garden, woodworking - where he created and completed many projects; and visits with his family. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 17, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, with Valerie Martell-Kostiuk officiating.
