Edith Herrell

MRS. EDITH HERRELL of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Andy Herrell, passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre with family at her side on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the age of 95 years.

Edith was a true caregiver. She not only cared for her family, but loved to take care of anyone who needed something, including the birds outside her window. She loved to knit, do crafts, and was a social butterfly - taking part in any and all activities. She loved to play bingo, and enjoyed winning even the smallest prizes. An avid Blue Jays fan; Edith faithfully watched every game on television. Edith enjoyed life and the company of family and friends. She lived all 95 of her years to the fullest. She will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.

Edith is survived by her daughter, Linda (John Edwards) Stemerick; daughter-in-law Judy Herrell; grandchildren Christopher (Nina), Tammy and Lisa (Saylor); and great-grandchildren, Preston, Tyler, Anthony, Courtney, and Claudia.

Besides her loving husband Andy, Edith was predeceased by her son Andrew (Little Andy).

A Funeral Service and Interment will be held in Oshawa, Ontario.

Memorial Services in Lethbridge will be announced at a later date.
