ESTHER FERN DULONG of Lethbridge passed away on June 4, 2012 at the age of 86 years.
Esther was born in Salina, New Brunswick on March 31, 1926 to Elmer and Jessie Sherwood. She worked in Williams Lake, BC at the hospital and later worked for CN Railway for a number of years. She resided in Kamloops, BC for over 30 years and then relocated to Lethbridge. She enjoyed socializing with friends and family. She belonged to the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre.
Esther is survived by her daughter Joanne (Bruce) Segboer of Lethbridge, her sons Randy (Sandra) Dulong of Coquitlam, BC and Carl (Karen) Sherwood of Williams Lake, BC, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Jessie Sherwood, her brothers David and Vernon Sherwood, and her sister Eldora Martin.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 pm on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at COUNTRY KITCHEN CATERING, 1717 Mayor Magrath Drive South (lower level of the Keg Restaurant).
Those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317 10th Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 9Z9.
