Douglas Rourke

1934 ~ 2009

Mr. Douglas Rourke of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Emma Rourke, passed away quietly at the St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre on Tuesday, June 9, 2009.

Besides his wife Emma, he will be sadly missed by his children Robert (Debbie) and Cindy (Mike) Durand; grandchildren Jennifer, Megan, Brandon Rourke, and Tessa Durand, as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his brother Bob of Toronto, Ont and sisters Kathy (Ed) of Lethbridge, AB, Eileen of Regina SK, Beverely (Burt) of Winnipeg.

He was predeceased by his father and mother, brother Willie and sisters Joan and Laura.

The family wish to thank the wonderful kind and compassionate staff at the Palliative Care Centre, and Home Care Nurse Ruth Bates. He looked forward to your visits Ruth, thank you.

At Doug's request there will be no service held.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an animal friendly charity of one's choice.
