Dorothy Manning

On Tuesday, January 29, 2008, surrounded by her loving family, DOROTHY (DOT) MANNING, beloved wife of the late Frederick (Fritz) Manning, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years.

Dorothy is survived by her son Fred (Tina) Manning and daughter Valerie (Gilbert) Hansen along with grandchildren Allison (Greg) Johansen, Shannon (Stacey) Kopp, Brad (Shari) Hansen and Ryan Hansen, as well as great-grandchildren Jessica Johansen, Hayley, Braxton and Drew Kopp and Tayler Hansen, brother-in-law Hector MacDonald, special niece Carol Mercer as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides her beloved husband ""Fritz"", Dot was predeceased by her parents Isaac and Nellie Rowntree, brothers George (Kay), Robert (Jean), sisters Nellie (Jim) Baxter, Gladys Peebles, Katherine MacDonald, Florence (Len) Furman and Eileen (George) Martin, dear sisters-in-law Vera (Barney) Carrier and Gwen (Alex) Chalmers and brother-in-law Rusty (Ruth) Manning.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Extendicare, friend and companion Dianne Greig and special ""roomie"" Shiela Anderson for all their support, acts of kindness and love over the past years.

In accordance with Dot's wishes, a Private Family Service will be held.
