Dorothy Dunn

DOROTHY JEAN DUNN (nee Campbell) of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. William Dunn, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the age of 91 years.

Dorothy was born in Cabri, Saskatchewan on December 19, 1920. She grew up and was educated in Stettler, Alberta. After attending Normal School in Calgary, she taught for three years in rural schools before joining RCAF/WD. Later, she taught school for 23 years in Lethbridge School Division #51. Dorothy was a life member of the UCW of Southminster United Church where she was also a choir member for 35 years. She worked with the Red Cross for several years and was a member of the Auxiliary to St. Michael's Health Centre.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband William; daughter Kathleen (Gerald Berent), sons Robert Hall and Douglas (Shiela) Dunn as well as 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was predeceased by four brothers and one grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, August 10, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Reverend Deborah Lannon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
