DONNA ADELE DORRELL of Lethbridge, loving wife, daughter, and mother, passed away peacefully on April 17th, 2007 at the age of 59 years.
Donna was born at Westlock, Alberta, on 29th December 1947 to the late Chester Ramsum, and Gwen Ramsum (McMillin) and was educated at Westlock and Edmonton. Upon graduation she worked in the banking industry, lately at Alberta Treasury Branches, Lethbridge. Donna excelled at needlecraft, sugarcraft and cake decorating, loved camping in the Rocky Mountain wilderness, the roses in her garden, and her four pet rabbits were the light of her life. Afflicted for many years by a number of debilitating medical conditions, she bore her disabilities and pain with dignity, courage, and a strong sense of humour.
Donna is survived by her husband, David, of Lethbridge, her mother, Gwen McMillin (Edmonton); her mother-in-law, Gladys Dorrell (England); her children, Lisa Dowdell (Rick Lawrence), Beverley Dorrell (Sean Hasinoff), Scott Ginther (Valerie), Michael Dorrell and Kristen Atwood (all of Edmonton); her brother, Brian Ramsum (Charlene) (Slave Lake) and grandchildren, Amanda, Brianna, Brayden, Taylor, Ethan, Abbygail, and Kaitlyn. She was pre-deceased by her father, Chester Ramsum and her sister-in-law, Ann Lloyd (Philip) of England.
Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects, between 6.00P.M. and 8.00 P.M., on Friday April 20th, 2007at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4th St. S., Lethbridge,AB. Cremation to follow.
A Celebration of Donna's life will be held at Park Memorial, 9709-111 AVE NW, Edmonton, at a date to be announced, and to which all family and friends are cordially invited.

The family extends its grateful thanks to Dr. R. Strank, and to the nursing staff at Station 3C, LRH, for their dedication, care, and concern for Donna's needs; and to our wonderful friends, Beverley and Dick Dunn, for their kindnesses during our time of loss.
