Ann Dillenbeck passed away on Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Bow Island Health Centre after living an amazing life of 101 years.

Ann was born in Fernie, B.C. and dearly loved the mountains. She chose teaching as a career and attended Normal School in Victoria, B.C. This is where she met the love of her life ""Cecil"". In 1942 they moved to Foremost and purchased the family farm. She returned to teaching in 1949 and during that time touched many lives with her love for children in Grade One until she retired in 1971.
She traveled extensively around the world with Cecil, with Hawaii being her favourite. She loved to garden and continued to do so until she moved to the Pleasantview Lodge in 2005.

Ann was predeceased by her husband Cecil, her son Bryan, sisters Kaye and Eileen, and brother ""Smokey"". Ann is survived by her daughters Charlotte (Bill) Buis of Foremost and Carol Ewach of Bow Island and a daughter-in-law Lyn (Bryan) Dillenbeck of Foremost, grandchildren Lorne (Kerri) Buis, Lisa (Warren) Bechthold and their children Taunie and Colby of Foremost, Chris (Ron) Preddy and their children Kristen and Luke of Lethbridge, Ken Ewach and his children Sheena, Colby, and Austin of Manning, and Cathy Ewach and her son Hayden of Edmonton, and step great granddaughters Lisa (Ryan) Kaupp and their son Sean of Lethbridge, and Johanna (John) Harty and their children Sierra and Brady of Milk River.
