Dermy Copeland

Mr. Dermy Lenard Copeland of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Gayle Edith Copeland, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 at St. Michaels Palliative Care Centre at the age of 82 years.

In his early days, his hobbies included hunting and fishing, and lots of family skidoo vacations. He enjoyed camping and building radio controlled airplanes. Dermy was a very active member of the Nordbridge Centre and made many friendships. He was a part of the Lethbridge Community Gardens for many years and always shared the bounty of his garden.

Dermy is survived by his 3 sons Lenard Copeland, Grant (Carol) Copeland, and Garth (Peggy) Copeland; his grandchildren Tyler (Jessica) Copeland and Melanie (Joe) Flug; 5 great-grandchildren Madalyn, Emma, Danni, Kaspar, and Anakin; his sister Pat (Edwin) Hockstien; his brother Wes (Heather) Copeland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides his loving wife Gayle Copeland, Dermy was predeceased by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at NORD-BRIDGE SENIORS CENTRE, 1904 13 Ave N., Lethbridge, AB
