Mrs. Sharon Margaret Denecky of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. Nick Denecky, passed away at St. Michael’s Health Centre on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the age of 74 years.

Sharon was born March 22, 1945 to Carl Albin Soderstrom and Madeleine Madge (Roan) Soderstrom.  She was the 5th of 6 children.   Sharon's life was lived in Lethbridge and the surrounding areas. Sharon married Nick Denecky in 1971.  Together they worked on the Denecky Farms in several Southern Alberta locations.
 

She was a cancer survivor for the past 23 years. Complications from those treatments caused her illness at this time. Sharon was a kind and loving person and will be sadly missed.

She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother, Gary.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Nick, sons Ken and Doug (Theresa), daughter Roxanne, grandchildren Crystal, Alex, Nicholas, and Nathan.  Also left are her sisters Dell Donovan and Christina Brooks and her brothers Allan and Ken Soderstrom, as well as many nieces, nephews and relatives. 

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 6:00pm and 7:00pm on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610, 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Sharon will be held at 1:00pm, on Monday, September 9, 2019 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610, 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Pastor Paul Van Stralen, officiating.

Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
