Daryl Gitzel

            Mr. Daryl Gitzel of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Chinook Regional Hospital, at the age of 61 years.

Daryl was born in Grande Prairie, AB. He retired from Mullen Trucking in 2021, after 39 years of service. His passions were fishing, ice fishing, hunting, camping, with his two sons and grandson, along with his best friends from school. He enjoyed the outdoors.

Daryl is survived by his mother Doreen of Nanton; two sons, Cody (Tracey) Gitzel of Edmonton, stepson Marvin (Allison) grandson Kiefer Isbell of Nanton; two sisters Valerie (Jerry) Gooch of Lethbridge, Karen (Stanley) Price of Nanton; one brother Wayne Gitzel of Nanton. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

He was predeceased by his father Donald in 1994; brother Richard in 1976; stepson Curtis in 1992; and both sets of grandparents.

Daryl will be truly missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
