Darrell Scuris- Brown

Darrell Stephen Scuris-Brown of Lethbridge Alberta, beloved husband of Sara Alysha (Adel) Scuris-Brown, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on January 15, 2025, at the age of 53 years, surrounded by his loving family.

Darrell was born in Lahr, Germany, but spent his formative years in the Crowsnest Pass before moving to Calgary, Alberta to acquire his tickets in autobody and heavy-duty mechanics at SAIT. His pride in his work was only outshone by his love for a wide variety of music and his various collections. After being medically discharged from work, he found a different sort of love and pride in working with the Lethbridge and District Humane Society, eventually leading into the care of many neonatal and medically at-risk cases of kittens and cats, who wouldn’t have survived without him.

Darrell is survived by his wife Sara; daughter Danae; son, Keiran; sister, Kirsten Gray (Byron); and both of his parents, Stephen and Vivian Scuris-Brown.

A celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined.
