Darrell Johnson

DARRELL BRADLEY JOHNSON, beloved son of Bill and Katie ann of Aden, Alberta, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2010 at 26 years of age, while on a family vacation at the Shuswap Lake in B.C.

In 1994, Darrell made the choice to serve God, which gave him depth of character and formed the man that we knew and loved. He lived every day to the fullest, but always remembered the true meaning of life.

Darrell took an interest in people of all ages, whom he loved to entertain, but kept a special place in his heart for God's sent ministers. He was a hard working farm boy, who loved the country life, which contributed to him becoming an avid, successful bowhunter.

Besides his loving parents, Darrell is survived by the love of his life, Jenna Spooner, of Kamloops, B.C.; his sister Corinna (Mark) O'Regan of Kamloops, B.C., and their children: Damon, Jada, Bella and Roman, who each had a very special place in Darrell's heart; his brother, Gary, of Calgary for whom he cared deeply; his grandmother, Mary Johnson of Lethbridge; and his grandfather, John Mandel of Cochrane. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends from far and near.

Darrell was predeceased by his sister, Cherry, in 1993, Grandpa Johnson in 2001, Grandma Mandel in 2002, and Aunt Judy in 1987, and his Uncle Andy in 2009.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August7, 2010 at EXHIBITION PARK, MAIN PAVILION, 3401 Parkside Drive South, Lethbridge.

Interment at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, Alberta.
