Daniela Lipinski

MRS. DANIELA LIPINSKI of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Paul Lipinski passed away at the Good Samaritans West Highlands Center on Friday, September 7, 2007, at the age of 85 years.

Daniela was born in Lodz, Poland on June 10, 1922. She met and married her husband, Paul, after WWII and they immigrated to Canada in December 1948. Daniela was a very gracious, kind and generous lady who loved her family and many friends. She very much enjoyed entertaining them all at her home. Sewing was a lifetime passion; she was extremely talented and created beautiful clothing and other items. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and cooking. She had a very loving nature, not only towards people, but also towards animals. She would help any stray animal that appeared at her doorstep. She will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Daniela is survived by her daughter Yvonne (Rick) Homan; sons Matthew (Wendy) Lipinski, Andrew Lipinski; grandchildren Sonja, Christopher, Marla, Kent; great-grandchildren Gabriel, Grace and Austin.
Besides her loving husband Paul, Daniela was predeceased by her parents, brother, and twin infant sons.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30AM on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at OUR LADY OF ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405-12 Ave. S., Lethbridge, AB, with Father Raul Hernandez, celebrant. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
