Cyril Farrell

CYRIL FARRELL of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the age of 89 years.

Born in Lethbridge to parents Robert and Leah Farrell, Cyril attended school in Lethbridge, and served in the 2nd World War. He played hockey both in Lethbridge and overseas during the War. After WWII Cyril returned to Lethbridge and worked for the T. Eaton Co for 24 years, installing flooring and then went on to opening and operating Farrell's Floor Installations for many years. He was an active member of the Army & Navy, the Legion, Elks Club and Kiwanis Club. He also belonged to and enjoyed golfing at the Henderson Lake Golf Course for many years.

Cyril is survived by his daughter Debbie, and sons Don (Wendy) and Bill (Jan), and his grandchildren; Lisa (Dan) Carlson, Brad (Vicki) McKenna, Kevin Farrell, Cameron (Bobbi) Farrell, Andrea Farrell, Deana Farrell (Isaac), and Spencer Farrell.

He was predeceased by his parents, Leah and Robert Farrell and his daughter Barb McKenna.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 12:00 and 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge.

Interment at Mountain View Cemetery, Field of Honor.
