Cynthia Hoyte

Cynthia Carol Hoyte of Lethbridge, beloved mother, nanny, daughter, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 after a brave battle with cancer.

Cynthia was born and raised in St Hubert Quebec. She moved to Alberta in 1980, and settled in Lethbridge in 1991. She was a proud mother of seven children, and nanny to ten grandchildren. She happily raised her children full time for many years before she began her career as a controller/bookkeeper. Cynthia was a zealous, devoted member of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and knitting especially for all her grandchildren.

Besides her late ex-husband Jeffery Goerz, Cynthia is survived by her two daughters Christina Spooner and Jennifer Meza; her five sons James Hoyte, John Goerz, Karl Goerz, Matthew Goerz, and Daniel Goerz. She was blessed with ten wonderful grandchildren Sarah, Jonathan, Coltan, Isaac, Jordin, Kieran, Colin, Abbey, Madelyn, and Fransisco. She will also be missed by her mother Muriel Hoyte; brother Michael Hoyte and sister Patricia Hoyte. Cynthia was predeceased by her father Edward Hoyte.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5 Rocky Mountain Blvd West, Lethbridge.
