It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Irene Coulson.
Irene was born in Leeds, England to Alfred and Alice Dunn. She met the love of her life Jim at age 15 and married at 20. They traveled Europe together on a motorcycle tour twice, loving every minute. Three children followed: Jacqueline Maerz (Terry), Christine Mykytiw (Murray) & Tony Coulson (Keri). The family moved to Taber, Alberta in 1975. Mom and dad moved in the 90’s making Lethbridge their home. Mom spent her last few years in Coaldale at the Sunny South Lodge.
She will be forever loved and missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: Kurtis Maerz (Megan), Kirstie Maerz (Brett Mason). Alica Whalen (Jeff Jacober), Mitch Mykytiw (Nicole O’Neill), Jordyn Mykytiw, and Maddy Coulson. Great grandchildren Sam Sasse (Caitlin), Jax and Hunter Mason, Gwenn and Gracie Jacober.
Mom and dad are together again. As Mom would have said: love is everlasting!
We will have a private family service at a later date.
