Colleen Langemann

MRS. COLLEEN BAWN LANGEMANN of Enchant, beloved wife of Mr. Hans ""John"" Langemann, passed away at the Coaldale Health Centre on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the age of 63 years.

Colleen was born in Claresholm, Alberta but also spent much of her younger years in Calgary. Colleen studied in Calgary to be an LPN. Upon marrying John Langemann, Colleen moved to Coaldale, before ultimately settling into the farm community of Enchant and partnering with John on the family farm.

Colleen was a vibrant member of the social life of any community she was involved in. She was active in the Enchant women's groups, Lomond Curling Club, Enchant Golf Club, and the Enchant Library Committee, and her time as a leader in Girl Guides stands as a significant and joyful period of her life.

Colleen was an avid craftswoman. She loved connecting with people and improving her skills in scrapbooking, paper tole, doll making, knitting, photography and more.

Besides her loving husband John, Colleen is survived by her daughters Corie Dombrowsky and Shauna (Gordon) Coxe, her son Jodie (Sarah) Langemann, grandchildren; Joshua Wiśniewski, Abby Coxe, and Jessie Coxe. She is also survived by her sisters; Pat (Brian) Schultz, Cathy Morkin, Teresa Morkin, Jeannie (Don) Derer, Elvira (Henry) Schmidt, and Lynette (Ernie) Langemann, her brothers; Jack (Toni) Morkin and Jim Morkin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Colleen was predeceased by her parents Regis and Pat Morkin, brothers-in-law Henry (Elvira) Schmidt, and Ernest (Lynette) Langemann.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at The Enchant Community Hall, Enchant, AB, with Pastor Jeffrey Frostad, officiating.
