Christopher Frederick Rodgers, husband of Martha Rodgers, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife and his six children, Kevin (Lisa) Rodgers of Edmonton, Robert (Celine) Rodgers of Lethbridge, James (Kima) Rodgers of Lethbridge, Timothy (Carey) Rodgers of Brooks, Andrew (Angela) Rodgers of Saskatoon, and Dene (Heath) Eva of Medicine Hat, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Aileen Rodgers, Step-Mother Gladys Rodgers and a Great-Granddaughter, Olivia.

Christopher was born in the County of Kent, England on October 25, 1941 during an air raid. In his own words, "my arrival was indicative of my childhood." In adulthood, Christopher was known for his stereotypical "British" humor, strong work ethic and ability to see the potential in almost anything. He enjoyed gardening, reading, canning, telling jokes and sharing stories.

His family would like to thank the healthcare providers at the Taber Hospital for their care and compassion over the past few years as Christopher’s health has declined.

The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 203 4th St. Champion, on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11AM. Friends are invited to meet the family prior to the service from 10-10:45AM. A light lunch will be held immediately following the funeral, with the interment to follow at 2:00PM in Enchant, AB.
