Christine De Boer

MRS. CHRISTINE DE BOER of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Albert DeBoer, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Being a war bride Christine immigrated to Canada, from England with her son Geoff on May 28, 1946 to join her husband near Granum, Alberta.

Christine is survived by her son Geoff De Boer; grandchildren Dawn and Leona; great-grandchildren Cheryl and Katherine; daughter-in-law Pat and brother Kenneth Hunter.

Besides her loving husband Albert, Christine was predeceased by her mother and father William and Edith Mary Hunter; brothers Bill and Alan Hunter; as well as her sister-in-law Thelma Hunter.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 St., S., Lethbridge, AB.
