CHRISTINA (CHRIS) MACK BROWN NOSS, beloved wife of the late Norman H. Noss, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Lethbridge Regional Hospital on March 17, 2010 at the age of 86 years.
Christina was born July 1,1923 in Dalkeith Scotland, daughter of Wishart and Christina Aitken. She along with with her mother and two sisters, arrived in Lethbridge in 1931 and joined their father, who had arrived two years earlier.
Chris attended Bowman School in Lethbridge, and District Schools McLean and White School.
Chris and Norman were married in St. Augustine's Anglican Church October 11,1945. Norman passed away January 21,2004. Also predeceased by her mother in 1972, her father and younger sister, Marion in 1979.
During war years, 1941 to 1945, she worked at the Lethbridge CPR Telegraph Office. After she got married, Chris was a full time homemaker and raised 5 children.
Christina is survived by her children, Marilyn (Doug) Inman of Calgary and their children Kara (John) Hallett and Claire (Shaun) Kain. Robert (Carolyn) Noss and their children Loren (Shelley) Bailey and Kevin Bailey. Ronald (Judy) Noss and their children Christopher (Nichole) Noss and Lisa Noss (Nikola Vranjes). Donald (Terry) Noss and their children Brianne (Rob) Ress and Bradley (Roxanne) Noss. Partricia (Peter) deGorter and their children Michael, Brandon and Courtney. Also survived by her great grandchildren Logan Ress, Nolan and Kendra Noss, her sister Margaret MacLaine, and one niece and two nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at ST. AUGUSTINE'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411 11th Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta with Canon James Robinson, officiating.
Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, Alberta.
