Charles Jenkinson

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of MR. CHARLES JENKINSON of Barons, at the St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at the age of 68 years.

He was born in England on November 27, 1940 and came to Canada as a young child.

Charlie's final humorous quote was: ""I've been in crap all my life, so spread my ashes at the sewage lagoon.""

That was Charlie. Always making light of things. He was kind hearted and was always up to a challenge. He loved to wheel and deal, and his friends will remember him for this.

Charlie's family resides in Ontario.

A gathering of his closest friends will be held at a later date.

Thanks to Lethbridge Regional Hospital and St. Michael's Palliative Care Unit for the care you gave him while his brief stay and to Martin Bros. Funeral Home for the support and kindness they have provided.

Charlie had a small dog named Cuddles who was his pride and joy. Anyone wishing to pay respects may contribute to their local animal shelter in Charlie's name.
