Mr. Chuck Cockerill of Lethbridge, beloved spouse of Monique Hoefer, and father to Cheyenne and Chase, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the age of 58 years.

Chuck was born in Lethbridge on March 14, 1964 and grew up in his well known family home on 13th Street South. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors. Since a young age Chuck had a passion for hockey and won numerous trophies and awards which he still had displayed in his home of 30 plus years. Directly after high school, Chuck started his career of over 25 years with Parmalat. He would later switch careers to be a truck driver. Chuck had a great deal of love for his dog, Ginger, whom he spent plenty of time with the last few years. Going for walks on the canal, truck rides and spoiling her with lots of treats.

Those who knew Chuck know that he was unpredictable and full of surprises. He was a great storyteller with an astonishing sense of humour that will be greatly missed by many.

Besides his loving spouse, Monique, Chuck is survived by his daughter Cheyenne (Matt); son Chase; grandchildren Alex and Aden; sisters Fay and Wendy (Wayne); brothers Stanley Jr. (Pat) Kim (Peggy); and his dog Ginger.

Chuck was predeceased by his parents Stanley (Stan) Cockerill and Phyllis Cockerill.

Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel.

To honour his wishes, Chuck will be remembered privately by his family and friends. Chucks ashes will be scattered at one of his favourite places, the Porcupine Hills.

Flowers are gratefully declined. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, https://www.diabetes.ca/ .
