Cecilia Bruchet

The family of Cecilia Bruchet announce that she is safely at home with her Lord and Savior after a short battle with cancer. Cecilia passed away at St Michael's Palliative Care at the age of 82 years. 

Cecilia was born in Lang, Saskatchewan and is survived by her beloved husband of 14 years Brian Bruchet; daughter Donna (Stephen Gamble)  Embretson; stepdaughter Nicole & Scott Still; stepson Robert Bruchet; grandchildren Travis, Melissa, Shannon, Cheryl, Caden and Makena; great grandchild Addison; Sisters Jean (John) Gaudio, Dianne (Keith) Richards, Judy (Darryl) Hunter; brothers Walter (Hazel) Grams, Leonard (Donna) Grams, Arnold (Jeannette) Grams and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cecilia was predeceased by her mother and father Phyllis and Edward Grams; brothers Bill (Inga) Grams, Herb Grams (Velma Focht), sisters Dorothy Grams and Evelyn (Jim) Thompson; daughters Sandy (Steve) Pierce and Carole (Gordon Moffat) Embretson. 

Cecilia was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend of many and child of God.  Cecilia practiced hospitality a lot; she loved to bake, entertain, play cards, word search, read and she loved western and gospel music. Cecilia loved Jesus; she has attended Park Meadows Baptist Church since 2003.  Her sister Jean taught her how to cross-stitch and she created many beautiful treasures. 

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm, on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at PARK MEADOWS BAPTIST CHURCH, 2011 15 Ave N, Lethbridge, Alberta.

Cecilia's service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at PARK MEADOWS BAPTIST CHURCH, 2011 15 Ave N, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Pastor John Estabrooks officiating. Those who wish to attend, please call Park Meadows Baptist Church, (403) 327-4422.  The service will also be available on a livestream by visiting YouTube.ca and searching Park Meadows Baptist Church.

Due to the restrictions in place from the Chief Medical Officer of Health – Funeral Services are now limited to 100 attendees. Including family and Funeral Home Staff.
