Bruna Cattapan

1926 ~ 2018

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bruna Cattapan, at Good Samaritan West Highland on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the age of 92.

Bruna was born on July 31, 1926 to Antonio and Angelina Simioni, in S.Andrea, Treviso Italy. Bruna and her husband immigrated to Canada where they raised their family. She was dedicated to her family. We will always be mindful of her love, sacrifice, devotion and life lessons.

Bruna is survived by her loving children Rino (Charlene) Cattapan, grandsons AJ and Alex (Mandy) Cattapan; Antoinette (Willie) Simons, granddaughter Jennifer (Shaun) Wasylien, great grand-daughter Andrea Wasylien; Norrie (Barry) Hall, grandson Craig Fuller, great grandson Raeden Fuller, granddaughter Amanda (Anthony) Kalegaric and great grandson Owen Kalegaric.

Besides her loving husband Alberto, Bruna was predeceased by her siblings Giacomo Simioni, Judy Turcato, Guerino Simioni, Santa Antonello as well as her son-in-law Ken Fuller.

A Vigil Rites Prayer Service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street S., Lethbridge, Alberta. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects 1 hour prior.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, 355 Columbia Blvd. W, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Father William Monis, celebrant. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
