It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and wife, Cathleen (Cathy) Rose Littler of Lethbridge, Alberta, on Thursday, November 14, 2024. After a brief but difficult battle with cancer, Cathy passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.

Born in Calgary on February 9, 1962, to Dennis and Vivian Littler, Cathy was raised in Okotoks, Alberta. She built a remarkable career as both an Accountant and a House Builder in Southern BC and Alberta.

Cathy was intelligent, honest, loving, an accomplished seamstress, fabulous cook, avid golfer, and prolific gardener. Her garden truly flourished this year, with over 250 tulips alone and carefully chosen flowers set to bloom in succession all summer, in order to feed the bees. Cathy’s brilliant mind was always seeking to learn and grow. She truly seized the day, every day, embodying the spirit of Carpe Diem – a phrase she proudly lived by. A fashion enthusiast, Cathy took great pride in her wardrobe and always looked like a million bucks. She was a loving mother and wife and cared deeply about her family.

Besides her loving husband, Dale, Cathy is survived by her two daughters, Trish Martin and Liz Yanke; two brothers, Mike Littler and Dave Littler; sister, Dawne Raugust; and her stepsons James, and Scott Hunter, Geoff Hunter (predeceased), and their families.

She will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, on Friday, November 22, 2024, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Cathy’s honor may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, https://cancer.ca/en/
