Casey Wiskerke

Mr. Cornelis “Casey” Wiskerke, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.

He is survived by his sole sister Betsy Groenenboom (Nee Wiskerke); his sons Maurice and Norman Wiskerke; daughter Rochelle Wiskerke, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Casey is predeceased by his Father Marinus Wiskerke and Mother Christina Wiskerke, with whom he immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands in 1953.

Casey was an active member in the community for many years, participating in the Jaycees and is probably best remembered for his Pic A Pop business. In his final years Casey enjoyed living at the Golden Acres Lodge in Lethbridge. He will be missed.

Casey’s Family will celebrate his life with a Private Memorial at a later date.
