After a brief but brave battle with leukemia, Bryan sadly lost the war for his life at the age of 66 passing away peacefully in the morning hours of Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at the Foothills Memorial Hospital in Calgary.

Bryan is survived by his loving wife of many years Karen and six children, Miriam (Chad) Dean, Daren (Sheri), Robert (Megan), Shawn (Julie), David (Tammy) and Christopher (Angela), 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Predeceased by his mother Verna, he is also survived by his father Howard, his sister Lois (Jim) Jackson and three brothers Kenneth (Judy), Larry (Lynne) and Wayne (Karen).

Born on Dixon Road in Malton, Ontario to Howard and Verna on August 8, 1946, Bryan spent his childhood on the family farm and moved to Alberta in 1991.

At the age of 13, Bryan completed building his first boat sparking a lifelong passion for boating, fishing and woodworking.

An honest, hardworking and quiet man, Bryan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as well as working on his home and in his garden.

He will be missed by many and forever in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 St. South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

A celebration of Bryan's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, with Reverend Hugh Jack officiating. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
