Briere Rene

MR. RENE CHARLES BRIERE of Lethbridge, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the age of 74 years.

Rene Briere was born in Ponteix, Saskatchewan on August 12, 1935. He married Claire Carriere of Val Marie, Saskatchewan on April 23, 1963. They moved to Lethbridge in 1968 and had three wonderful daughters, he leaves to mourn, Rachelle Lothian Briere, Roxanne Briere, Jocelyn Briere; four grandchildren that he loved Travis Briere, Chad Briere, Justin Araki and Kara Araki; two brothers Paul (Helen) Briere of Medicine Hat, Maurice Briere of Herbert, Saskatchewan; sister Jeanne Briere of Vancouver, BC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rene is predeceased by his parents Alice and Philias Briere; infant brother Maurice; Lucille Briere Reid and twin Irene Briere Bianchini.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00pm, on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 - 13 Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Father Raul Hernandez, celebrant.
