Brian Zettel

Brian Zettel of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Amber Zettel, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. He fought long and hard over the past several years.

Brian was born and raised in Lethbridge. He was a son, brother, uncle and loving father. He married his childhood sweetheart and together they raised four wonderful children.

Brian loved the outdoors, where he camped, hiked, fished, and hunted. He enjoyed the challenge as he learned a wide variety of jobs. He earned his second year of culinary school and worked on paving crews and ice roads. He knew all aspects of construction, ran heavy equipment and so much more. Brian enjoyed sharing this wisdom with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Amber Zettel; children Rhean, Aila, Tharen, and Braelin Zettel; his mother Karen Miers (Tom Dulewich); brothers Thomas Bota (Lora Hughes-Bota, Alex, Cayleigh, and Bethany Bota), brother Sanchez Zettel; and his father, Glen Zettel. He is also survived by his in-laws April and Monte Palmer; Gerry and Mary Marose; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ronald and Bertha Bota; and his nephew Declan Bota.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Monday, November 25, 2024, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4th STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, Alberta.
