Michael Donald Blood of Standoff passed away suddenly on Friday January 22, 2021 at the age of 69 years.  He is now with his loving wife Annie Blood (Red Crow) who was deceased August 31, 2013 and Parents, Alfred and Lucy Blood (deceased).

Mike was born on January 11, 1952. He enjoyed life and he walked through it with smile for everyone. As a young man, Mike was one of the youngest competitors in the bull riding. He loved rodeo and competed in Indian rodeo’s and pro rodeo’s during his younger years. Mike then went onto join the RCMP. he loved being a Police Officer and worked as one for about 20 years.  From there, Mike joined the Blood Tribe Police and then Security with Blood Tribe Forage Plant. He later retired and enjoyed going for walks, fishing, watching PBR, rodeos, horse racing and his cat “GARFIELD”.   

Michael leaves behind his son Mark Red Crow and daughter, Lucinda Blood/Red Crow; siblings Wilfred Blood, Charles (Rhonda) Blood, Dewey (Carolyn) Blood, Blaine Blood, Joanne (Erik) LeMieux, Manuel Blood, Cynthia (Hiram) Blood, and Yolanda Eagletailfeathers.

 He was predeceased by his beloved wife Annie; parents Alfred and Lucy Blood; siblings Violet Bouvier (Blood), Narcisse Blood Sr., Hilda Yellow Wings, Janet Blood (Little Bear), Beverly Little Light (Blood), Henry Blood and Leslie Blood.
