Mr. Benjamin “Ben” Blatancic of Coalhurst, passed away in his home on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the age of 40 years.

Ben leaves to mourn his daughter Eva; his parents Josip and Marija; brothers Rafael and Franjo; sisters Gabrijela, Josipa, Mihaela and Nikolina as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members and friends.

Ben was born in Tesanj, Bosnia and Henzegovina and spent his last days in Coalhurst, Alberta. He had a charismatic personality and was very outgoing and fun to be around. He loved his family and friends and spent most of his time talking.  Yes, he definitely loved to socialize! Ben was generous and always ready and available to help whenever needed.

Accept him, Lord, and our Faith, Dreams and Hopes will be fulfilled.

A private Funeral Mass will be held at ST. BASILS ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, with Father Domin Vadic, celebrant. Interment will follow in Royal View Cemetery.
