Bill Bodnar

BILL KENNETH BODNAR of Picture Butte, beloved husband of Pat, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, with his family at his side, on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the age of 65 years.

Bill was born on August 22, 1942 in Lethbridge, AB and married the love of his life Pat. Bill also leaves to cherish his memory his children Carol (Mike) Gibson and their children Jordan and Adam, Jodi (Alan) Bartz and their children Deanna and Katarina, Tammy (Derek) Lewicki and their children Bailey, Kassidy and Mackenzie. Bill loved and was deeply loved by his family.

He is survived by his siblings Anne (Frank) Gorda, Ethel Campbell, John (Gladys) Bodnar, Mary (Gary) Ward, Steve (Pat) Bodnar and sister-in-laws Arlie Bodnar and Helen Bodnar; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents Michael and Elizabeth Bodnar and his brothers George and Ed.

Bill worked for CWNG for 33 years and was a loyal member of the Picture Butte Elks for the past 40 years. The most important things in his life were his family and friends. His other passions included gardening, golfing and especially watching all of his grandchildren's many activities.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. C. Forestell, Dr. D. Holland, Tanya Reiter and all of the ""girls"" at the Cancer Clinic.

Flowers are graciously declined. Those who wish may donate to a charity of one's choice.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, March 17, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
