Betty Lynch

Elizabeth ""Betty"" Lynch of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late George W. Lynch, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2007 at the age of 96 years.

Elizabeth was born in Austria and immigrated to the Walsh Area farm with her parents at the age of 3 months. She was raised and schooled in the same area. After leaving the farm she worked in Lethbridge, Fernie, BC and Portland, OR. On returning to Lethbridge she married George Lynch in 1930 and raised her family there. George and Elizabeth became members of the Lethbridge Salvation Army in 1930 where she became an energetic and conscientious worker in various army projects.

Elizabeth Lynch is survived by her daughter Georgina (Albert) Fiebelkorn; son Eldin Lynch; grandchildren Patricia, Bryan (Lil), Larry (Leah), Ron (Robyn), David (Shelly) and Diane (Gil); great-grandchildren Keira, Steven, Jacob, Wade, Jennyanne, Jessica, Melissa, Morgan and Tyler.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, February 23, 2007 at the SALVATION ARMY CHURCH, 1302 - 4 Ave South, Lethbridge, with Major Brian and Edith Beveridge, officiating. Interment to follow in Archmount Cemetery.
