Bert Kemmet

MR. BERT KEMMET of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Isabel Kemmet, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2011 at the age of 90 years.

Bert was born and raised in Schuler, Alberta. He left the farm to work in Lethbridge where he met and married Isabel Gyorfi and they had two children Debra and Lorne. Bert worked his entire 32 year career in the transportation sector. He started as a driver for Canadian Freightways and eventually became general manager of Motorways Lethbridge.

Besides his loving wife Isabel, Bert is survived by his daughter Debra (Adrian) Seward and their children Cory (Karen) Seward and their daughter Tegan and Craig (Alyson) Seward; son Lorne (Sandy) Kemmet and their children Shane and Elliott Kemmet; twin brother Robert Kemmet; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Bert was predeceased by his parents John and Annetta Kem met and brothers and sisters Harold Kemmet, Laura Henry, Laverne Davies and Amanda Kemmet.

A private family memorial was held.
