It is with great sadness and gentle peace that our family announces the passing of Bernice Marie Redman of Lethbridge at the age of 88 years.

Bernice was born Bernice Marie Manns in Wadena, Saskatchewan to Raymond and Louise Manns. She grew up in Flin Flon, Manitoba and there she met Bruce, her husband of seventy years. They met at the curling rink in Flin Flon. Bernice and Bruce married in October 1953 in Flin Flon, lived in Swift Current, SK, The Pas, MB, Kelowna, BC and settled in Lethbridge AB

Bernice was a very social person and was the speaker organizer for many years for the Seniors Common Ground. She enjoyed her lunch dates, coffee dates and birthday celebrations with her many friends. Bernice was an avid hockey fan. She was a season ticket holder for the Lethbridge Hurricanes and the Lethbridge Bronco Hockey teams.

Bernice enjoyed singing. One of her favorite songs was Down in the Valley, she also liked Anne Murray and several other country artists. She enjoyed playing the card game 31 and baking the "family favorite" butter tarts.

Bernice was the beloved wife of Bruce, dear mother of Cheryl (James) Steele, Neil (Gemma) Redman, Derek (Ashelyn) Redman and Murray (Lisa) Redman. "Nannie/Nan" to Tyler (Tina Marie) Steele, Declan (Shona) Redman, Logan (Melanie) Redman, Connor Redman and Ethan Redman. Great "Nan" to Grace and Luke Redman and Kaelum and Aylish Redman. Bernice is also survived by her sister-in-law Annette Manns, her nephews Dennis (Donna) Manns, David (Jody) Manns, Ron Manns (Mayda Serrano Alvira) and their families.
