Bernard Giesbrecht

Bernhard (Ben) Giesbrecht of Lethbridge, Alberta, formerly of New Bothwell and Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, April 3, 2020, at the age of 72.

He was predeceased by his parents Wilhelm (1967) and Maria (Enns) (1986) Giesbrecht; son Jason Giesbrecht (1990); brothers William (Bill) (2009), Abram (Abe) (2010), Peter (Pete) (2016); sisters Tina Doerksen, (2016), Susan (Susie) Hiebert (2019) and Mary Antonishin (2020).

He is survived by his siblings Henry (Hank) Giesbrecht (Verna), Jacob (Jake) Giesbrecht (Ruth), Anna (Anne) Klippenstein (Henry), Edwin Giesbrecht (Susie May), John Giesbrecht (Nina), Freda Bostrom (Clyde), Leonard Giesbrecht (Laverna), Violet (Vi) Brown (Garry), Marvin Giesbrecht (Cheryl), and sisters-in-law Eileen Giesbrecht (Miller), Helen Giesbrecht (Hiebert), Yvonne Giesbrecht (Tamblyn)

Due to the coronavirus crisis, the family will plan to have a Memorial Celebration at a later date.

Ben is very fondly remembered by family and friends.  

Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
