Bernadette Kunz 1921 ~ 2014 Bernadette Magdeline Kunz passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 4, 2014 at the age of 93 years. Mom was born to Nicholas and Magdeline Kramer in Humbolt, Saskatchewan on July 19, 1921. She married the love of her life, Edward Kunz, on April 22, 1946. They started their life together in Saskatchewan, but moved to Alberta 4 years later where they remained mostly in Taber. Their family was always mom's priority. She was a seamstress by trade and later sewed for the pleasure of giving her family many homemade gifts. She quilted and we still enjoy the fruits of her labor. Her cookies and pies were abundant and delicious and will never be surpassed. We miss her terribly already. Alzheimer's robbed us of her far too soon. Mom and Dad spent several years in Clearview Lodge in Taber. Mom moved to St. Therese Villa in Lethbridge after Dad's passing, where she remained until her passing. They were very good to her we thank them dearly for their kindness and care. She is survived by her children Connie (Bruce) Eliason and their children Jackie (Greg), Troy (Sabrina), and Michelle (Duane); Wesley (Vickie) Kunz and their children Chad (Robin) and Dylan (Brigette); Monty (Colleen) Kunz and their children Cara (Wes) Makayla (Jess); Murray (Brenda) Kunz and their children Pam (Lukasz) and Jason (Jana); Doug (Heather) Kunz and their children Lane (Krystal) and Raeann (Tim) and 15 deeply cherished great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Linda Dauk of Regina, three sisters in-law and two brothers in-law. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Edward Kunz. A private service will be held for family. Send condolences at www.mbfunerals.com.
