Benson White

MARCH 23, 1935 - OCTOBER 3, 2009

Beloved husband of Helen White passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the age of 74 years.

Ben will be lovingly remembered by his wife Helen, of 51 years, daughter Cindy (Bob) Tinordi, and sons; Darren (Tracy) and Bill (Maureen), along with his grandchildren; Chris, Kaylee (Matt), Jennifer (Dustin), Jared, Kyle, and Josh, all of whom were the light of his life.

Ben was born and raised in Carmangay, son of Florence and the late Bill White, brother to Joan, Gary (Letty-Lynn), and Brian, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Ben worked his years within the hardware business at Beaver Lumber and Revelstoke. He was a member of the Hockey Hounds through the years of the Bronco and Hurricane Franchises; a time he enjoyed with his many friends. Dad (Papa) enjoyed curling, baseball and fishing. His handy work and gardening were his passion at retirement.

The family asks that you please take a moment during the day to reflect upon a memory you have of Ben. A private family gathering will be held.
