Barbara Ablethorpe 1951 ~ 2013 Barbara Jean Ablethorpe, beloved wife of Leonard Ablethorpe of Frank, AB, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the age of 62 years. Nothing was more important to Barbara than family and friends. She was attentive, understanding and always put others before herself. She will be missed by anyone who was blessed to know her. Barbara is survived by her loving husband Len; daughters and sons-in-law, Odette and Jason Brown, Emma and Jarrod Babiuk, Erin Ablethorpe and Holly Ablethorpe; three grandchildren, Parker Brown, Lilla Brown and Charlotte Babiuk; her mother Daisy French; and three brothers and sister-in-laws, Paul and Vicky Proffitt, Robert and Marcia Proffitt and Stephen French. She was predeceased by her father Lenoard Proffitt. A Celebration of Barbara's life will be held at Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels Ltd. 610 - 4th Street South, Lethbidge, AB on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. Many thanks to the staff of the Tom Baker Cancer Center and the Chinook Hospice for their care and support during Barbara's illness.
