Official Obituary of

20/6/1926 - to - 9/9/2012

MARJORIE JUNE AUSTRING of Vulcan Alberta passed away at home in the early hours of September 9, 2012 with family at her side. Marjorie was 86 years of age and fought a four year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Marjorie was born on June 20, 1926 to James Arthur Muir and Rosa Mae Muir. When Marjorie met her late husband Raymond, she was living and working in Flin Flon Manitoba for the Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Company. After their marriage in Flin Flon in June 1950 they moved to Lethbridge. While living in Lethbridge Marjorie gave birth to four children: Linda, Muriel, Ronald and Julie. Marjorie was involved as a volunteer for her church, woman's groups, the Salvation Army, as well as being a full time house wife. Later in life Marjorie was also involved in the family business as a book keeper and continued to be involved in her church. Marjorie is remembered by her family as a gentle, loving, patient, and gracious mother and friend. Marjorie is survived by her 3 Daughters: Linda Austring, Muriel Northcott (Neil) and Julie Healy (Ross), 1 Son: Ronald Austring, 10 Grandchildren: Marilyn Simons, Sharon Molnar, Valerie Budd, Evelyn Behbahani , Raylene Scarrott, Christopher Northcott, Amy Ly, Danae Northcott, Rebecca Healy, and Sean Healy, 7 Great Grandchildren: Matthew, Tyson and Sharla Scarrott, Liam Cheng, Abby Simons, Evan Molnar, and Affam Ly, 1 Sister: Betty Stringer, and 1 Brother: Bruce Muir, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her loving husband Raymond, she was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Rosa Muir, 3 Brothers: Bob, Mel and Don Muir. Family and Friends are invited to attend the following on Friday the 14th of September, 2012: -Viewing at 12 Noon at the Martin Brothers Funeral Chapel Ltd. 610- 4th Street South, Lethbridge. -Internment at 1 P.M. at Mountain View Cemetery. -Memorial Service at 2 P.M. at the Westside Community Church, 480 McMaster Boulevard, West Lethbridge with Dr. Greg Austring officiating. Donations may be made to The Living Memorial at the Westside Community Church, 480 McMaster Blvd West, Lethbridge, AB T1K 6R3 or the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 47 Squire Bakers Lane, Markham, Ontario L3P 3G8.
