MISS ASHLEY BROOKE HEGI-RONALD of Coalhurst, beloved daughter of Lori and Jay, went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 9:00am on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the age of 17 years.

Ashley was born on May 23, 1991 in Lethbridge and born again on October 11, 2005. She attended Coalhurst High School and was to graduate next month on the 15th of May. Ashley loved scrapbooking, quading, fishing, camping, shopping, and pets; especially hamsters, dogs, sugar gliders and fish. She also loved to help teach Sunday School. She enjoyed sleepovers with friends with movies and eating! Ashley loved attending Hurricanes hockey games. The highlight of the game was watching her give out all those ""high fives"" after a goal. She started as a volunteer at Petland and was later employed in May of 2007. Her dream job had become a reality!

Besides her loving parents Jay and Lori Ronald and Sean McKenna, Ashley is survived by her grandparents Jo-Anne Hegi of Lethbridge, Ed (Carol Huculak) Hegi of Lethbridge, James and Florence Ronald of Saskatoon and Ron and Dianne McKenna of Raymond. She is also survived by her brothers; Evan and Tytan and her sister Haven, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and their families.

She was predeceased by her long-time best friend John Tacket, who also had Progeria.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 4717 - 24 Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, Alberta.
