Mrs. Arthea Marguerite Brack, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
Arthea, wife of the late Robert Frank Brack, was born April 7, 1924 in Cardston. She was predeceased by her parents, William Arthur Pitcher and Hannah Elizabeth Pitcher, four brothers and seven sisters.
Arthea is survived by her son Craig (Diane), grandsons Travis (Andrea) and Tyler (Ashley) of Lethbridge.
She attended school in Woolford, Alberta. Her first job was working at the family's general store in Woolford. Arthea started her professional career with Alberta Government Telephones in Cardston as an operator.
Arthea married Rob Brack in Nobleford on May 23rd, 1953 and moved to the family farm for a short time before moving to Lethbridge. Arthea's career with AGT spanned 35 years. Before her retirement she was the manager of the traffic departments in both Lethbridge and Blairmore. Her retirement included selling clothes at Eva Mia, and being a full time grandmother and role model to Travis and Tyler. Arthea was a member of the Royal Purple and the Alberta Telephone Pioneers. Her great joys in life came from her family and friends. She was especially fond of her sister-in-law Marg Roe, her nieces Marg Van Egmond and Joanne Chute. We would like to thank the caring staff at Legacy Lodge for their love and support throughout the past year.
Arthea was a woman of style and fashion. Feel free to wear a little bling to her service.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, April 11, 2014 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610- 4th Street South, Lethbridge.
