Anthony Jensen

ANTHONY WAYNE JENSEN of Raymond, Alberta passed away in the early morning of Sunday, May 20th following a courageous battle with lung cancer, at the age of 66 years.

Beloved companion of Jean Braun and dear father of daughter Shannon Jensen (Tom) of North West Territories, son Tyrone Jensen (Victoria) of Edmonton, and twin daughters Shandie Tanner and Tandie Tanner of Ontario. Tony will be lovingly remembered by his two brothers Kelly Jensen and Ken Jensen (Gwen), his five sisters Bernice Fischer (Greg), Carol Bidmead, Roberta Keller, Valerie Jensen - Brown and Cathy Van Lent (Jerry) and his much loved nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all Jean's family and his friends.

Tony was predeceased by his parents Elvin and Anne Jensen, brother and sister Tyrone and Bernadette in childhood and by his niece Kerri Dunsmore.

Many times over the five months at St. Michael's Palliative Care, Tony expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff there and felt very fortunate to have their friendship, caring ways and excellent medical care. Jean and all the family also express their heartfelt thanks more than words can say.

At Tony's request there will be no memorial service.

In lieu of flowers and if desired, friends may wish to donate to St. Michael's Palliative Care Center at 1400 - 9th Avenue South, Lethbridge. Alberta T1J 4V5 in Tony's memory.
