Anne Petrunia

MRS. ANNE PETRUNIA of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late George Petrunia, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the age of 92 years.

Born April 14, 1916 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Anne married the love of her life George and together they stayed lifetime residents of Lethbridge.

At this time Anne was an employee of Catelli's, she then moved on to become a florist and flower designer for several florist firms. She loved flowers, especially those in her own garden which she took care of with much dedication; especially her geraniums. Anne's favorite saying was ""I can't stay still, I have to be busy"". Besides her garden, Anne had many other hobbies. She was a lifetime member of CWL and St. Basil's Parish and also a member of the Nord-Bridge Senior Citizens Association, the Italian Club and the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization.

Anne is survived by her son Brian Petrunia; grandsons Kurt (Rachael) and Jason (Sarah); great-grandchildren Owen, Joshua, Bethune and Lilly: as well as brother Robert (Evelyn) Perini.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM, on Monday, September 22, 2008, at ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 - 13 St., N., Lethbridge, with Father Raul Hernandez officiating.
