ANNE GANGER passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the Coaldale Health Care Centre.
Anne was born on October 2, 1920 in Czechoslovakia, the second child of John and Helen Ganger. In 1926 she emigrated to Canada with her mother, two sisters and a brother. Here they joined her father who came to Canada in 1924. She attended St. Basil's School in Lethbridge.
Anne is survived by her sisters Helen Vucurevich of Lethbridge and Mary Berner of Edmonton; sisters-in-law Pat Hanna of Lethbridge, Barbara Ganger of Burnaby, BC, Dorothy Ganger of Surrey, BC and Hilda Ganger of Lethbridge; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and their families.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Helen Ganger and brothers John, Mike, Peter, Charlie, Steve, George, an infant brother and Paul.
Anne spent many years in the Raymond Care Centre. The past eleven years she was a resident of Coaldale Health Care Centre where she was cared for in a most compassionate manner.
A private family service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at MARTIN BROS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, with Father Paul Lysak officiating.
