Anne Bobinec

MRS. ANN YVONNE BOBINEC beloved wife of Mr. Vincent Bobinec passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at the age of 84 years.

Ann was born at home in Hardiville on June 15, 1924. She married Vincent on November 7, 1943. They spent their working lives farming and raising their son and daughter. Ann was always happy following Vince to and participating in his many sports. She was active in the C.W.L. in Wrentham for many years. Ann loved baking, gardening and being with her grandchildren.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all.

Ann is survived by her husband Vincent, daughter Judith (Herb) Pidhirney, son Douglas (Joanne), grandchildren Michelle Pidhirney, Shanna (Vince) Sutherland, Charleen (Rick) Sterling and great-grandson Shaemus James Richard Sterling. Ann is also survived by her sisters Emma Barbara Doe and Dorothy (Jack) Harmon as well as a brother Ed (Julie) Lastuka and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents Nick A. and Mary Ann Lastuka and brother-in-law Holly Doe.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 7:30pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2008 at MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610- 4 Street South, Lethbridge, led by Mr. Jim Chapman.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on August 6, 2008 at OUR LADY OF ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 - 12 Ave South, Lethbridge, with Father Tim Boyle celebrant. Interment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Parkinson's Society of Southern Alberta, 1254 - 3 Ave South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 0J9.
