MRS. ANNA WAMSTEEKER of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Hank Wamsteeker, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011 at the age of 71 years.

Anna was born on March 27, 1940 to Louis & Klazina Brandsma in Holland. Anna immigrated with her family to Canada in the 1950's settling in Southern Alberta. Early in her life Anna was a nurse serving at the old Galt Hospital. Anna married Hank on September 4, 1964 and together they resided in Lethbridge raising their three children. Anna devoted many years of her life caring and tending to her loving husband as he battled a lengthy illness. Additionally Anna too struggled many years with numerous health concerns. Throughout all of life's struggles Anna persevered with a relentless will and an incredibly strong faith.

Besides her loving husband Hank, Anna was predeceased by her parents Louis & Klazina Brandsma; her brothers John Brandsma and Louis (Betty) Brandsma,

Anna is survived by 3 children Peter (Charlotte) Wamsteeker and their children Jeffrey, Rebecca and Kaitlyn, Leon (Monica) Wamsteeker and their children Kyle, Nikolas, Colleen (Michael) Kandel and their children Brooklynn and Sierra; 2 brothers Pete (Elly) Brandsma and Jake Brandsma; sister Pauline (Henry) Withage as well as numerous brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews and their families.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 between 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at MARTIN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge, AB.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 1:00PM at the MARANATHA CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 260 McGill Blvd. W, Lethbridge, AB, with Pastor Andrew Joosse, officiating.
