Anna Madsen

ANNA ""HOLLY"" MADSEN of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Danny Madsen, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 5, 2010, at the age of 54 years.

She was born and raised in Lethbridge and was employed throughout the years at the El Rancho Hotel, Lucerne Foods and Greystoke Homes. She enjoyed old Rock 'n' Roll music, wiener roasts with friends, travelling to the mountains, driving around in old cars, volunteering at the Humane Society, and spending time with her mother. Although she had health issues, Anna maintained a positive attitude, was always optimistic and had a smile for everyone.

Anna is survived by her son, Michael, her mother, Mary Goluk, sisters Olga (John) Sinclair and Sonja Smith, and brothers, John (Marian) Goluk and Mike Goluk. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, Danny and her father, Frank Goluk.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at SS. PETER & PAUL GREEK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 640 12C Street North, Lethbridge with Reverend Gary Sedgwick, celebrant.
