Anna Cservenyak

Anna Cservenyak (nee Lovas) beloved wife of the late Steve Cservenyak, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the age of 91 years.

Anna was born in Budapest, Hungary on April 20, 1922; she came to Canada in 1957, settling in Lethbridge. Steve and Anna were together for 20 years before their marriage in 1983.

Anna worked at the Purity Dairy for 12 years and also worked as a cook in the Blue Sky Lodge in Lethbridge for 13 years. She was a member of the Hungarian Old Timer's Club and enjoyed travelling with Steve.

Her parents Julius and Jozafa; her one daughter Gabrella in 1941; and numerous brothers and sisters predeceased Anna. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Helen and is survived by her son-in-law Dennis Bruchet. Anna has four nieces and two nephews till living in Hungary.

Survived by a large family, Anna has eight grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10:00am- 11:00 on Tuesday, June 18th, 2013 at ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH | 604 - 13th Street North, Lethbridge. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am with Father Roque Periera, celebrant.
